Tyreen Cottage, Downalong, St Ives.
A traditional Fishermans Cottage in the sort after area of Downalong in St Ives. A perfect spot for a family holiday by the sea.
We have stayed in our campervan numerous times on the site but with a newborn we decided to stay in the self catering cottage on site instead. Sunset Cottage was perfect for us and the dogs, it has an enclosed garden and coastal path nearby. The cottage itself was very well equipped, clean, and was very comfortable on a very rainy day to stay in and it felt like home. Would highly recommend and will be returning 👍

Great place, modern and trendy fit out, Well kept site, garden lawns mowed with stripes, and the smell of freshly cut grass when we arrived. Fast WiFi- TVs work perfect, BBQs allowed, list goes on! ( all positive)
We will be back, owners are nice and helpful. Giving you great knowledge of the area & local attractions, offer help with anything needed, lovely couple, 10/10 for price and location. Simple taxi ride into town if you’re feeling lazy with handful of drivers available or 10 mins walk in town, 20 mins coastal path. Thanks again.

A beautiful, small campsite in Cornwall. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant: right on the Coast Path, not far from St. Ives.

Camped for the first time here as part of my honeymoon and it was fabulous! Lovely clean site, wonderful view, great facilities and the owners were polite and friendly! I will definitely be visiting again :)

What a lovely little site. Facilities are spotless and modern, if a little snug.
Hardstanding pitches are well kept, a little smaller than expected for the price but actually perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to St Ives, absolute bonus. Make sure you've fuelled up (as in cake) for the walk back as it is uphill! Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Recommend pitch G as you get the morning sunrise.

Lovely little touring site really well looked after.
Nice clean facilities with lots of hot water. Mixed toilets and showers in the main block. 30 minutes walk downhill into St Ives or 50 minutes via the Coastal Path.

"Lovely little camp site about half an hours walk from the prettiest beach I have ever seen in England. St Ives is stunning. There is quite a walk beck up the hill though. Taxis are around £6 to St Ives and there are buses running regularly. There is also an open top bus for £5.00 which you can hop on and off all day."

"A true gem of a campsite. Unbeatable location on the edge of the SW coastal path, easy to walk into st Ives as well along this path. Gemma and Tom are excellent campsite hosts, very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay lovely! Great facilities, great sized pitches, we loved our second stay here, and will definitely return again"
